At Lizar, we believe that medical data privacy is sacred. This application has been designed under the principle of Privacy by Design, ensuring that the professional maintains total control over their patients' information.
Note: Lizar is an offline-first application. We do not own, see, or store your data on any external servers.
1. Data Collection & Local Storage
No Cloud Collection: Lizar does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or medical data on external servers.
Local Storage: All information entered into the application (clinical histories, patient names, prescriptions, etc.) is stored exclusively in your device's local memory.
User Ownership: You are the sole owner and custodian of the application's database. If you delete the app or clear its data, the information will be permanently lost as we do not maintain external backups.
2. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
To keep the application free for professionals, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Advertising IDs: AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads.
Medical Data Integrity: It is important to note that advertising providers have no access to the confidential patient information stored within Lizar, as the advertising SDK operates in complete isolation from the app's local database.
3. Device Permissions
Lizar requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its professional operation:
Storage: To save and read clinical histories and generate PDF files.
Bluetooth/Connection: For functionality to share prescriptions or reports with other devices (manually activated by the user).
Internet Access: Solely for loading advertisements.
4. Information Security
Since the data resides on your device, its security depends on your terminal's protection measures (screen lock, disk encryption, etc.). We strongly recommend using passwords or biometrics on your device to protect access to Lizar.
5. International Compliance
Lizar meets the most demanding privacy standards, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Union and HIPAA privacy guidelines in the USA, by performing no data processing on third-party servers.
